Did you know that you can make your own ice cream without an ice cream maker – and just two ingredients?
Heavy cream and sweetened condensed milk are all you need to make a delicious, no-churn ice cream that has endless possibilities for flavor mix-ins! We’ve taken a sweet-savory approach, incorporating a brown sugar tahini swirl and plenty of chopped halvah!
In a small bowl mix the tahini, brown sugar and cinnamon until well combined. Set aside.
Place the sweetened condensed milk in a large bowl. Use a hand or stand mixer to beat the heavy cream till stiff peaks form. Fold one-fourth of the cream into the condensed milk to lighten. Add the remaining whipped cream and fold till well incorporated.
Pour half the ice cream base into a serving bowl, loaf pan or cake pan. Drizzle with half the tahini mixture and top with half the chopped halvah. Repeat with the remaining ice cream base and tahini. Use a thin knife to swirl the mixture, then top with the remaining chopped halvah. Freeze, covered, overnight.
