Halvah
Halvah is an irresistible old-world sesame confection originating from Mediterranean countries in the 13th century. In 1907, when Joyva Founder Nathan Radutzky came to America from Kyiv, he brought his recipe for Halvah. Made from over 50% crushed sesame seeds called Tahini and just a few simple ingredients, our Halvah is mixed by hand in traditional copper bowls into a smooth layered fudge-like texture. With a sweet-savory taste, our Halvah is nutrient dense, and naturally gluten free. We invite you to have a taste of this tradition!
